Sealers Natural Stone

Sealers Natural Stone

Sealer Granite, Marble, Quartzite, Travertine

Topical sealers protect against water, oil, and substances that can contaminate.
They are made with plastic compounds, waxes, and acrylics.
Following the sealer, focus switches to sealer care instead of stone care. Sometimes stripping and reapplication are needed.
Impregnators Sealers:
Impregnator’s sealers are breathable and will not change the natural look of the surface. They are needed for vanity tops and food preparation areas (Check safety of sealer for food preparation).
Impregnator’s sealers become repellents after they are applied and resist mold, mildew, alga graffiti, grout dyes, mortar haze, acid rain, or any solvent-based solutions that penetrate below the surface of the stone. They repel water, oil and keep contaminants out, while allowing moisture to escape.

Manufactures Tile

Manufactures Tile

DIRECT FROM OUR OWN QUARRIES AND FACTORY IN TURKEY.
Our materials are imported directly from our own quarries and factories in Turkey. Since we are our own tile manufactures there is no middle-man, we are a direct importer so we are able to offer our customers competitive prices on a high quality product.
We import our stones directly from our own quarries in Turkey and they are shipped to the US by sea via container ships.  These container ships carry their load in truck-size intermodal containers.  This technique is called containerization.  That way, once the vessel arrives, the containers can be offloaded and shipped by land via trucks.
We have been in business for 35 years.  Our Turkey location opened its doors in 1981.  Our US store opened its doors in 2005.
Our products are produced at our own quarries and factories using the most technologically advanced machines in the natural stone industry.  This, coupled with our knowledgeable Quality Control Department which inspects each and every one of the stones before it is exported, guarantees that you will receive a high quality product from us.

Your Package is secured.

-After the material leaves the port in Turkey, it takes around 30 days to receive it in the port in the US.  Of course, other factors could affect this such as inclement weather and delays at any of the ports on the vessel’s route.
-The tiles are packaged in wooden crates.  The crates are secured with plastic straps held with metal clips.  The bottom and top of the crates are also protected with polystyrene to prevent chipped corners.
-Some materials are very delicate and they are also packaged in individual boxes that are later crated.  Example, the ½” brushed and chiseled Botticino French Pattern is packaged like this.  Each individual set is packaged into a box.

We are located in Pompano Beach Florida, However we deliver fast and everywhere

Our physical store and showroom is located in Pompano Beach, FL.  However, we deliver to all 48 contiguous states.  Shipping is also available to Puerto Rico and Alaska, but you need to call us at  954-977-4876 for a shipping quote.

Cut Natural Stone

Cutting Natural Stone

Cut Natural Stone

Natural stone tiles are too hard and dense to just snap unlike ceramic tiles and other material, therefore it must be properly handled. Tile cutter and snips are not recommended even when you can score and snip them the cut will not be clean.  In the event that there is a rough cut you should smooth the edges not only to get the desired finish but also to prevent injury. Use an electric wet tile cutter for cutting natural stone as it will provide cooling lubrication.
You should read all manufacturer’s directions and safety guidelines on everything before starting any project! Follow all safety precautions including mask and goggles to protect your face from tile particles.
Natural Stone should be marked and lined up with the guide.
Travertine and marble stones must be cut with a diamond blade. A wet blade is the recommended tool and should always be used as mentioned above.
Always make your main cut with the finish side up you should place a notch on the reverse.
Do a backside kick to prevent breaking (cut a small notch where the cut will end and then proceed with the main cut). This helps prevent a splitting, cracking and flaky breaks.
Feed slowly and let the blade do the cutting. There is less chipping with a slow feed (smoother cut)

Setting up the machine:

  •  While you’re setting up keep saw unplugged for the duration of the set up
  • The blades used by the machine have a width of  7/8 and narrow 5/8 curve blades (usually counter clockwise)
  • As you Install the blades keep in mind that the machines work clockwise
  • Please secure collar and lug nut before using the wrench to tighten
  • You may use wrench and tighten
  • Remember to secure the screw in the water guards before adding water
  • Your last step will be to add water and then plug it in and turn on then you’ll be ready to go.
